CorrView ® is primarily designed and intended for cooling tower water, process cooling waters, fire sprinkler services, and other HVAC applications.
While clients and visitors to this site have suggested various applications in oil production, refining, steam plants, chemical processing, natural gas, and other specialty fields, cooling water and fire sprinkler applications remain our primary areas of interest at this time. Such specialty areas will be addressed in future CorrView ® models.
A corporation stop model for insertion into live pressurized systems, as well as variations suitable for oil, gas, and hydrocarbons will be available - appearing on our order page when they do.
Special requirements for metals other than carbon steel, or for high corrosion resistant coatings, metric threads, or other non-standard features are priced individually.
At this time, CorrView ® is offered in size1-1/2 in. NPT. Both 3/4 in. and 1 in. NPT models will be available. All sizes are machined from mild 1018 carbon steel, have a black nickle chromium industrial finish, and offer a white to orange visual indication of water or moisture.
As standard options to each size, we provide different wear dimensions of 0.035, 0.050, 0.100, and 0.150 in. We also offer CorrView ® with either a flat forward wear profile, or with a 1/2 in. extended front surface, as shown below. Further information on all products is available below:
